Shannon Ottinger, Client Strategy Partner

Shannon has more than 10 years of relationship marketing and consulting experience with firms ranging from Ernst & Young and GE to innovative technology start-ups. Most recently Shannon was a Client Marketing Manager at GE where she led the American Eagle and Home Shopping Network (HSN) accounts, representing over $400 million in annual card sales. While there she designed and managed acquisition and lifecycle campaigns ranging from prescreens and birthday programs to lapsed customer initiatives. These efforts grew new accounts for the portfolios by 73% and 50% respectively. In addition, she led competitive review and customer analytics efforts for The Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic while part of GE’s Marketing Leadership Program.

Prior to GE Shannon developed customer account strategies and managed major account relationships for NetVendor, a technology start-up that was eventually acquired by SAP. She also built and managed the customer support center for Sparkhorse, an Internet start-up that provided online catalog capabilities for the automotive aftermarket.

Prior to joining the start-up world, Shannon was a Consultant with Ernst & Young where she advised clients on process improvement and ERP system implementation as a specialist in Oracle’s CRM module.

Shannon started her career in marketing consulting for Reed Marketing Group where she specialized in market research and brand positioning.

Shannon has an MBA from Emory with a concentration in marketing strategy and a BS in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
